Children’s non-perishable food items should be brought to the Catholic Social Services Thrift Store at 3229 Wrightsboro Road between 8am and 6pm. Click here to view our Thrift Store location.

Those who make food donations will receive a 10% discount on their Thrift Store purchase on those days.

Catholic Social Services of Augusta is a Diocese of Savannah-sponsored ministry that provides emergency assistance to poor, homeless, and at-risk individuals and families in the CSRA and surrounding areas. The proceeds from the Thrift Store are used to support their mission. Currently, they are experiencing a shortage of children’s food items and this food drive will help restock their shelves so they can continue to provide food assistance to the CSRA’s most in-need families.

Here are some examples of the food items needed. (Items with asterisks are always most in demand.)

  • Cereal/Fruit Loops*

  • Peanut Butter and Jelly*

  • Ravioli/Spaghetti-os*

  • Canned Fruit or Fruit Cups
