CSS Recognizes Jerry and Sharon Baine
Last week, Sr. Janet Roddy, MFIC (Executive Director at Catholic Social Services of Augusta), Philomena Mooney (Thrift Store Manager), and several of the CSS family had the pleasure of presenting Jerry and Sharon Baine with a token of our appreciation for all their hard work and dedication to the Catholic Social Services mission.
If you are unfamiliar with Jerry and Sharon, they were instrumental in the procurement and renovation of our new thrift store building. For years, Jerry and Sharon helped search for a new building — and left no stone unturned in order to make our dream of a new home for the thrift store a reality.
And, after helping us find and navigate the purchase of our new Wrightsboro Road store, Jerry and Sharon also shared their expertise in the renovation project to ensure that every detail was considered.
We truly could not have taken on this project without their time, talent, dedication, and patience and we are so very thankful for everything they have done to help us get here.
They continue to be a part of the Thrift Store family, volunteering regularly in the store.
The plaque reads:
With loving recognition and deep appreciation …
Catholic Social Services will forever remember Jerry and Sharon Baine
For your Faith in God and our Ministry
For your Hope and Courage in answering a Call
For your tireless Labor and your Perseverance
For your Dedication, you Expertise, and Experience
Leading us in love to this long-awaited Dream
