The Thrift Store’s Opening Day
Wow, Augusta! What an amazing, exciting, overwhelming, and humbling response to our new building and grand opening. It was so nice to see so many new and familiar faces on opening day! With your time, talent, love, and support the Thrift Store had one if it’s best days ever — and we couldn’t be more thankful.
A special thank you to the long list of people who have made this day possible and to those in attendance for the ribbon cutting ceremony:
Sr. Janet Roddy (Catholic Social Services of Augusta, Executive Director)
Sr. Isabelle Lohan, MFIC
Jerry and Sharon Baine
Mary Davis (Augusta District 3 Commissioner)
Sean Mooney (Augusta District 3 Commissioner Front Runner)
John Clarke (Augusta Super District 10 Commissioner)
Azar+Walsh Architects
and all our staff, volunteers, donators, shoppers, family and friends.
Here’s a quick recap of the Grand Opening events for those who were unable to attend. We hope we’ll see you at the store soon!
